Age Limit: Candidates age limit should be 45 years for S.No.1 to 3 posts, 40 years for S.No.4 & 5 posts. Age relaxation will be applicable as per rules.

Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess M.Sc Nursing Degree & GMERS for S.No.1 to 3 posts, Post Graduate Degree in Nursing & GMERS for S.No.4 post, General Nursing & Midwifery Course/ B.Sc Nursing Course for S.No.5 post. All the candidates must be Registered with Indian Nursing Co uncil.

How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send only one application prescribed format for all seven hospitals any of the Medical Superintendent, GMERS college attached hospital at Sola-Ahmedabad, Gotri-Vadodara, Dharpur-Patan, Gandhinagar, Valsad, Junagadh and Himmatnagar on or before 03-01-2015. India's Cash intensive economy

The Reserve Bank of India and commercial banks annually spend around Rs.21,000 crore ($3.5 billion) in currency operations costs while citizens of Delhi alone spend Rs.9.1 crore and 60 lakh hours in collecting cash. The scale of this burden is unique to India considering that it is among the most cash-intensive economies in the world with a cash-to-GDP ratio of 12%, almost four times as much as other markets such as Brazil (3.93%), Mexico (5.3%) and South Africa (3.73%).
There are many reasons why India has to pay such a high price for its payments .One is the need to frequently reissue notes due to poor handling -low-value notes have to be replaced in less than a year. The other reason is the need to frequently upgrade security features and replace old notes. There is a huge cost in pulling old notes out of circulation and replacing them. India also has unique issues in logistics and in some places the currency notes have to be transported by helicopter.
A report on `Cost of Cash in India' commissioned by MasterCard and brought out by the Institute For Business In The Global Context has highlighted how much of a drag the over dependence on currency for payment is turning out to be. One reason for the increased dependence on cash is the lack of access to banking with a third of the population over 15 years not having used a bank account.
The report also highlights that although mobile banking has picked up, it is not yet being used for payments. There has been a jump in electronic payments since 2007 with its share increasing from 2.6% to 6.8%.This is largely due to the development of non-cash payment systems such as the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS), National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) and National Electronic Clearing System (NECS). But the report says that growth in these segments has typically benefited the commercial sector more than retail clients. The value of transactions through ATMs has grown sixfold from Rs.3 lakh crore in 2007 to about Rs.18 lakh crore in 2012. However, when the ATM transactions are weighted for population, India continues to fare poorly even when compared to lesser developed markets such as Kenya, Niger or Egypt. According to RBI data, in 2013, 15,400 crore banknotes were issued globally, of which the maximum banknotes, 5,400 crore, were issued by China and almost 2,000 crore by India. The global projections for the next three years have been worked out at 16,000 crore, 16,600 crore and 17,300 crore banknotes, for the world, China and India , respectively

Three held for thrashing teenage couple in Latur

Three people from Ganimi Kava were arrested on Friday after a video surfaced purportedly showing a group of men thrashing a teenage couple in Latur district, objecting to them "cavorting" in public. arrested people belonging to an outfit called "Ganimi Kava" (guerrilla squad) who went about allegedly thrashing couples in public spaces.

नितीन गोडसे, अमोल खंदाडे, संदीप गोडसे अशी अटक करण्यात आलेल्या आरोपींची नावं आहेत. गनिमी कावा संघटनेच्या एकूण सहा जणांवर गुन्हा नोंदवण्यात आला आहे. त्यापैकी संघटनेचा लातूर तालुका अध्यक्ष बालाजी गोडसे, राकेश गोडसे आणि अक्षय बनसोडे फरार आहेत. सर्व आरोपींवर कलम 395 अंतर्गत गुन्हा दाखल करण्यात आला आहे.

लातूर जिल्ह्यातील अंकोली गावात 30 नोव्हेंबर 2014 रोजी हा प्रकार घडला होता. यात तरुण आणि तरुणीला बेदम मारहाण करण्यात आली. मात्र याच ठिकाणी असलेल्या 25 ते 30 जणांनी फक्त बघ्याची भूमिकेत होते.

Haryana's brand ambassador: Baba Ramdev

The BJP government in Haryana which has ambitious plans to promote yoga and ayurveda in a big way has appointed yoga guru Ramdev its brand ambassador.
Announcing this at a press conference at the Divya Yog Mandir here, Haryana's minister of sports and health Anil Vij said a herbal forest would be developed over thousands of acres of land in the state where plants of 25 thousand species of ayurvedic herbs would be grown under the supervision of the yoga guru and his close aide Balkrishna.
Expressing happiness at being appointed Haryana's brand ambassador, Ramdev said considering the state government's vision, the day was not far off when it would become India's first yogic state.

Kiran Bedi joins BJP

F ormer Team Anna member Kiran Bedi has joined BJP and will contest the Delhi assembly polls on February 7, a move seen as the party's move to contain Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the national capital.
The 65-year-old former IPS officer was inducted into the party fold in the presence of BJP president Amit Shah and Union ministers Arun Jaitley and Harshvardhan, triggering speculation that she may be in the race for chief ministership if BJP wins.
Shah declined to answer if Bedi would be pitted against her former colleague Arvind Kejriwal from New Delhi constituency . "A decision about her constituency will be taken later."
